Kinetic wind sculptures capture the imagination as they spin, twirl and dance in the breeze as though they have a life of their own. Watching them can be quite mesmerizing. From small wind spinners to large wind powered robots they are often feats of engineering genius. If you are looking for a delightful conversation starter, why not add a kinetic wind sculpture to your yard?

The summers are never long enough and when I entertain I like to do so outside in my garden. When the light starts to fade I can be found running around lighting my many tea light holders and outdoor torches.
Although solar and low voltage lighting work well and are very functional, they do not add to the atmosphere the way outdoor torches do. Also, oil torches are very bright and light up the garden with their white or golden flames. Add a few and you have an instant party!

Last summer I purchased some copper torches. They were a step up from the old metal canisters we had which rusted through the bottom when we tried to refill them. Time for something more stylish and durable.
On the first official day of summer my new copper tiki torches were put to good use, giving my social gathering a party atmosphere and – with the help of citronella oil – keeping the hungry mosquitoes at bay!
