If you're into Yoga...or Zen you just might like this fountain. It gives new meaning to the concept of unwinding and it sort of resembles the feeling I have on a Friday night after a hard week, when Pamela shakes out a vodka Martini and we kick back next to the fire. I can almost feel the invisible coils unwinding slowly. Seriously, if you have a Yoga studio or a contemplation room, this one would go perfectly. It's also available in alternative color schemes if you have a particular decor you're working with.
Okay, folks, for those astute observers, this one looks a whole lot like blues in the night. Yup! it originated as a custom version of that very fountain. And, quite frankly, we had a lot of trepidation about making a blues in the night...without any blue whatsoever. When it was said and done, however, my wife, Pamela and son Cameron came over and said they really liked it and that it "popped". (the ultimate compliment around here.) if it "pops" for you let us know
The moment I finished this one, my wife wandered by and discovered...well...all kinds of symbolism in it. I told her to go away and leave me alone. We're into music, but We're also into other things that...go bump in the night. If you want to see naughty symbolism in this sculpture, go ahead.
If you've ever seen Fantasia and watched the amazing fairies doing their ballet to tchaikovsky's wondrous music, you get the idea of the feeling this fountain gives. No photograph can capture the magic that is going on here...the light, the color, the sound of the water... it's nothing short of magical
